Who We Are

We are students from every discipline working towards revolutionary progress in all realms of human endeavor. We foresee the reduction or elimination of crude biological barriers to the flourishing of sentient, intelligent beings. We anticipate terrific extensions of life and health spans surpassed in significance only by the staggering enhancement and diversification of the abilities that will accompany them. We seek to extend opportunities for a richer and longer experience to all.

In seeking to surpass hitherto inherent limitations, we realize that contributions are necessary on a number of fronts, from cutting-edge fields of science, technology, and medicine, to novel issues of law, government, and societal organization, to original vision in the arts, humanities, and philosophy.

The mission of the TSN is two-fold:

* Create a campus presence throughout the world to spread awareness of and generate balanced dialog at local institutions on Transhumanist themes. Not only will you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a crucial contribution to the movement at the local level, but in the process you will find friends with similar interests (including professors!).

* Assist students in networking with established professionals in their field(s) of interest. We want to help you succeed. We are continuously developing networks you can tap into through us to help accelerate your career, be it in cognitive neurobiology, cyborg sociology, or immersive virtual reality. We will help guide you toward networks that match your majors and requests.
