TransVision 2004 Toronto -
There's Still Time for Students to Submit a Presentation!!!
I have been able to pay for the TransVision event and send in my speech proposal this past weekend.
*** If any students are interested, there is still some room to speak. Proposals will be accepted along with your payment. Let them know you want to do this ASAP if you are interested. ***

My presentation title will be, "Toward Non-Fatal Uploading: A New Framework." I will cover a lot of thought I have given the subject in a tightly organized format. The two essential aspects of the new framework I propose for the extension of subjective-experience (rather than mere replication) are processes of growth of networks into non-biological substrate (which I will explain) and a functionality shift toward those new networks (which I will also need to explain).
Remember that this conference is Not just for presentations on science and technology, there will also be an ethics, law, and politics track and an arts and culture track AND you can submit artwork or schedule live performances during the event.
I hope to meet some of you at the event, I know other students will be there along with Transhumanist leaders already established in a wide array of fields.
Best,
Ben
